Artists in residence are welcome to sit in on the summer courses and participate in field study trips. Alumni Apprenticeship: We would like to invite those who have been through a program with the Leo Marchutz School before to return and serve as a program assistant and apprentice with the staff and faculty. Apprentices will get a sense of what it takes to teach in the program, learn about the logistics of running an art school, support daily operations, and help behind the scenes in the program. Apprentices will work with the staff and faculty ahead of the program start date to define their goals in the apprenticeship and decide together on their roles and responsibilities for the program. Apprentices will be expected to sit it on and participate in the summer courses, attend all field study trips, and fully participate in the program.
